Living with the Inside on the Outside

Tonight we plumb the depths of a hurt you may not realize...the hurt of a 3-year-old, rejected by others, because Daddy's in prison; the hurt of a mother, crying out to God that her son will not be killed in prison tonight; the hurt of families, who just don't want to go through it again. Pastor Wayna Pritchett joins us for this poignant look at the impact of prison upon the family outside--you'll be moved by this real-life, personal look at Living with the Inside on the Outside.

Kathleen's Story

World War II...a WAC in India was pinned down by enemy fire. She jumped into a nearby foxhole, hoping no cobras were in it this time. Suddenly, an Air Force pilot jumped into the foxhole on top of her. Several years later, they met again, and this time, they headed for the altar, not the foxhole! Kathleen S., a touching story of a great servant of God, still serving at 84, trusting God through being abused as a child, serving in WWII, taking on 32 foster children, earning her teaching credential at age 50... tune in for the whole inspiring story on Lighthouse Live!

Blind Faith! 120108

An inspirational interview with Central Valley broadcasting legend Marty Lanser (voice of Flying Blind Traffic on AM 1360), and Dan "The Man" Diaz, one of AVC's most productive volunteers. Both men are blind, and their faith is exercised the community daily on a "can do" basis! We also discuss resources for the visually impaired, for their families, and for those with conditions that may lead to blindness.
